Historically, Kerrie has always had an interest in the body, born from competing in sport from an early age and attaining a degree in Sports & Human Movement Studies (1995). She started work within the health industry as a gym instructor and then later as a sports lecturer/administrator at Kingston College. Acupuncture was introduced to her following a back injury, after which regular treatments improved significantly and Kerrie gained an understanding of its beneficial qualities for musculoskeletal injury recovery and prevention. It was many years later following a high-pressured career in the City of London, that Kerrie sought the benefits of acupuncture again, which improved psychological/physical recovery and reduced medicinal side effects following a serious illness. This experience evoked a need for further understanding of this natural medicine and she began a career in Acupuncture.

As a keen advocate of natural medicine, Kerrie is passionate about the benefits of acupuncture to treat both physical and emotional conditions, or act as an effective natural adjunct to any ongoing medical treatment. This was evident in her dissertation research which related to acupuncture as a therapy to mitigate symptoms in patients receiving breast cancer treatment/medication. Kerrie has a keen interest in muscular skeletal injuries, stress/anxiety and general health conditions, including female menopause (natural and induced).
